In 2020, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Agrani Samaj presented the Durga Puja theme “Jol Bhoro Jol Dhoro”. The pandal was beautifully decorated with umbrellas, carrying two symbolic messages: 1. An inverted umbrella can store water—signifying the importance of water conservation. 2. Open umbrellas create natural distance—reminding us of the need for social distancing during the pandemic. This theme brought together creativity, awareness, and the spirit of Durga Puja even in one of the toughest years for humanity.
